No SRA employee will ever ask for money from prospective clients or charge a reading fee. 

If you are interested in exploring the possibility of working with Steve Ross, please send a brief query email describing your proposed book, and introducing yourself either as an author or as an expert in your field interested in sharing your story.

It would be helpful to know about previously published works, your sense of a potential audience, and any platform you may have. Think of this query as my introduction to you and the work that you do or the story you have to tell,  And if you were referred by someone, please be sure to let me know. 

It is best to be in touch via a query letter before sending unsolicited submissions,  For unsolicited submissions, please keep the following in mind:

  • For non-fiction submissions, send an informative cover letter, an outline, and a sample ten pages of the manuscript.

  • For fiction submissions, send an informative cover letter, a brief synopsis and the first ten pages.

Please remember to include your contact information, and for unsolicited submissions, please allow a minimum of 4-6 weeks for a response.  I will do my best to keep track of and respond to queries I receive, but if you do not receive a response from me within the time frame, then please be in touch again.
